The club sponsors ARRL exams quarterly. Exams are held at the Fire Service Institute  Exams are also held for special events. For information about exams, please contact Debbie Fligor, N9DN.

The club meets at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of every month except July and August. Regular meetings are held at the Fire Service Institute (FSI). The FSI is located on Gerty drive in Champaign. Gerty is a side street west off of First Street just north of Windsor Ave. The UI Credit Union is on the corner, the FSI is the last building on the south of the street.

In the Spring, the club holds an auction.  Ham Radio related items may be auctioned. Please feel free to stop by and visit if you are interested in the club or just Ham Radio in general.

TCARC is a co-sponsor of the local Champaign County 2meter Net. The net meets every Thursday evening at 9pm local time on the 146.76  repeater in Champaign, IL. People checking in can make announcements and list items for swap. The Newsline report is played after everyone has checked in. If you're in town, we'd love to have you join us.

TCARC participates in  Field Day the last weekend in June each year.

We have a contest group within the club, operating K9CU.  This group specializes in contesting, DX chasing, VHF weak signal contacts, and the popular TCARC FM Challenge Contest.
